"The Hirsbrunner CC-290 (2003): The end result of passion for detail."

The instrument, an original Hirsbrunner tuba with five valves, is made from gold brass with a delicate gold/silver trim. The virtue of selecting this material is not only its beautifully warm visual effect, it's also more corrosion-resistant than conventional brass.

Considerable time and love for detail were expended, as wholly reflected in the hand-turned bell. Last but certainly not least, each individual component was crafted by hand in order to lend the body its own unique character. Its warm, soft tone coupled with uncompromising responsiveness make this instrument an experience - both for the musician as well as the listener.

One special distinctive feature of the tuba is its Minibal links. Made of bronze, they're much harder than conventional links and, coupled with steel, have outstanding bearing properties, of utmost importance to any musician. This forestalls wear even further.
