Matthias DietzeMatthias is one of Leipzig’s native sons, and has been on the team the longest. Matthias, a trained precision mechanic, has been a member of the workshop since May 2011, and today, serves as its head. He is a passionate horn player, and is a member of the University Orchestra, the Leipzig "Blaswerk" wind ensemble and the Chamber Music Ensemble. He also has experience as a conductor for youth orchestras and as a sound engineer. Matthias is equally at home on the stage or behind the scenes, and brings all his experience to his work in instrument-making.
Tobias AckerschewskiOur Berlin team member completed his vocational training as a Brass instrument maker at the Berufsfachschule Ludwigsburg (vocational school) as the best in his year and was also awarded the Bildungsoscar (Educational Oscar). Tobias plays the trumpet in various chamber music ensembles, as well as in symphony orchestras.
